The World of Warcraft includes pets that players can have interactions with. Amidst the vast areas and other objects, gamers enjoy having and controlling pets that adds up to the World of Warcraft gaming experience.

Getting and controlling pets in the World of Warcraft is not as simple as it seems. The first thing you have to do is to choose a race so that you can effectively control your pets. It is recommended that you pick a race with a Warlock or Hunter class.

If you have decided for the Hunter class and the Alliance races, you can choose between Dwarves, Night Elves and Dranei. Trolls, Taurens and Blood Elves can be opted for the Horde race. Take note that classes aside from Warlocks and Hunters can have and control pets but not as effectively as those two.

The Hunters know almost everything about beasts scattered in the wild. Specifically, Hunters can be considered as the supreme masters of every beast that can be found in the World of Warcraft. This and the ability to befriend beast and convert them into pets is what makes the Hunter class unique in the game. These beasts-turned-pets can then go with the Hunter to travel and battle while getting abilities and experience. Once the Hunters improved their powers, they will achieve additional experience and knowledge that will help them obtain rare and powerful pets that can come with them in their quests.

Hunters can have many pets but they can only have one alongside them at a given time. To be able to use a number of pets, the Hunter can use a skill to summon and dismiss a pet. With this skill, a Hunter can select a pet that is most appropriate for a battle or quest on a given location. The player can even choose a pet depending on the situation.

Another ability that the Hunter has is transferring abilities amongst pets. This is very helpful in enhancing the skills of any newly tamed beasts since every pet has its own set of abilities. Just improve the abilities of each pet by using the other pets’ special abilities.

Warlocks are another class that can get and control pets. The races that can have Warlock class are Gnomes and Human for Alliance and Blood Elves, Orcs and Undead for Horde.

If Hunters can tame wild beasts and turn them into pets, Warlocks can control demons from the wicked areas of the World of Warcraft. These demons are Infernals, Imps, Succubi and Void Walkers. Another difference of Hunter pets and Warlock pets is that Warlock pets have their own controlling mechanism and they do not have to be on the Warlock’s side.

Other classes that can have pets aside from Hunters and Warlocks are Priests and Engineers. Priests have the ability to control humanoid monsters as pets for some time. On the other hand, Engineers can create pets. Aside from the Hunter, Warlock, Priest and Engineer class, other classes can have pets through items found that can be used to create pets. Other classes can also buy pets from vendors or receive pets as loot for killing specific creatures.

All the gamers in the World of Warcraft can have pets whatever their race and class be. But there are selected races and classes that can use these pets in their quests. Other races and classes just have to be contented looking at them.
