Gatherer is the add-on for the popular game World of Warcraft which allows avid gamers to keep track of what they’ve discovered throughout the game: from items to minerals, from herbs to treasures.

Another purpose of the gatherer is to track the plants, treasures and deposits the gamer is closest to on his minimap.

However, it does not track the same way a tracking ability does. It remembers where the gamer found the items throughout the game. This is done whenever he gathers (performs the spell herbalism, opens or mines) an item. Tis is recorded on the map. The history is also inputted. Henceforth, the items is listed as a configurable item to the location and automatically pops up in on the gamer’s minimap.

Whenever the main map is viewed, the item and the location where it was found is marked, making it easier for the gamer to remember where he could get more of the items when he is in need of it.

In order to install the gatherer into your PC, extract the data with the input “World of Warcrfat/Interface/AddOns” in order for the “Gatherer” to be the subdirectory of the Addons.

Now that you have installed the World of Warcraft Gatherer into your system, you can still play the same way you used to even before you had the Gatherer. When you get things, these will automatically appear on your main map as well as your minimap. You can configure the add-on by clicking the Gatherer icon which is floating around the frame of your minimap.

There is a movable UI button on the minimap which gives the gamer complete access of the toggle menu for the filtering options. He can show or hide the menu and move the icon of the minimap in the dialog options. He can also click on the menu title for fulla ccess of the Gatherer’s configuration window options. Key binding is made available on the quick menu. There is also a possibility for the gamer to fillter the herbs depending on thte skill level as well as the rarity of the item. This version is available in French and German and can be swapped in the surrounding zones.
